Stunning 1950's Wiggle Dress
A bit of wounded bird, but still a gorgeous 1950's Edith Flagg of California, Cobalt Blue 100% Wool, fully lined dress. The dress has 3/4 length sleeves, a beautiful boatneck, and although there are some issues with the lining at the seams at the waist, it is in otherwise impeccable condition. The previous owner wanted to wear it one last time and although it was a bit too snug, the memories attached were precious to her. Throwing caution to the wind, she tried it on, and when sitting down to have one last cup of tea in her most loved dress, the lining at the waist separated a bit. Oh My! A touch embarrassed, she continued with afternoon tea, and later apologized profusely when handing me the treasure.
